CANCELLATION & NO-SHOW POLICY
Effective Date: February 1, 2026
At Level Nine Beauty, appointment times are reserved specifically for each client. Late cancellations and missed appointments create openings that are often difficult to fill and directly affect our stylists and other clients waiting for appointments.
We therefore ask clients to provide adequate notice when changing or canceling an appointment.
CANCELLATION NOTICE
We require at least 48 hours' notice when canceling or rescheduling an appointment.
Appointments canceled or rescheduled with less than 48 hours' notice may be subject to a cancellation fee of 50% of the scheduled service price.
Any applicable cancellation charge is subject to applicable law.
NO-SHOWS
An appointment is considered a no-show when a client fails to attend a scheduled appointment without providing appropriate notice.
No-shows may be charged 100% of the scheduled service price, to the extent permitted by applicable law.
Clients with repeated no-shows may be required to prepay future appointments or may be declined future booking privileges.
APPOINTMENT DEPOSITS
Certain appointments may require a deposit at the time of booking.
The deposit will ordinarily be applied toward the cost of the scheduled service.
If an appointment is canceled or rescheduled within the permitted cancellation period, the deposit may be transferred to the rescheduled appointment according to our booking procedures.
If an appointment is canceled after the cancellation deadline or the client does not attend the appointment, the deposit may be forfeited, subject to applicable law.
HAIR EXTENSIONS AND SPECIAL-ORDER SERVICES
Hair extension appointments and other services requiring products or materials to be specially ordered may require a separate deposit or advance payment.
Once custom or client-specific hair, extensions, products, or materials have been ordered, the associated product or material charges may be nonrefundable to the extent permitted by law.
The specific deposit and cancellation conditions applicable to these services will be disclosed during consultation or booking.
LATE ARRIVALS
Please arrive on time for your appointment.
Clients arriving late may have their appointment shortened or modified so that subsequent clients are not inconvenienced.
If you arrive sufficiently late that the scheduled service cannot be safely or professionally completed within the remaining appointment time, we may need to reschedule your appointment.
Depending upon the circumstances, the appointment may be treated as a late cancellation and an applicable cancellation charge may apply.
RESCHEDULING
Appointments rescheduled before the cancellation deadline generally will not incur a cancellation fee.
Repeated rescheduling, including repeated last-minute changes, may result in a deposit or prepayment requirement for future appointments.
EMERGENCIES AND EXCEPTIONAL CIRCUMSTANCES
We recognize that emergencies, severe weather, sudden illness, and other circumstances beyond a client's reasonable control can occur.
Level Nine Beauty may waive or modify a cancellation or no-show charge when appropriate. Any exception will be evaluated based upon the individual circumstances and applicable law.
SALON CANCELLATIONS
Occasionally, Level Nine Beauty may need to cancel or reschedule an appointment because of stylist illness, emergencies, severe weather, equipment issues, or other unforeseen circumstances.
If we must cancel an appointment, we will make reasonable efforts to notify you promptly and offer alternative scheduling options.
Clients will not be charged a cancellation fee when Level Nine Beauty cancels an appointment.
CARD-ON-FILE AUTHORIZATION
If Level Nine Beauty's booking system requires a payment card to reserve an appointment, any authorization to charge that card for late cancellations or no-shows will be presented through the applicable booking process.
Any charge will be made in accordance with the policy disclosed to and authorized by the client and applicable law.
